A DIP resistor (short for Dual In-line Package resistor) is a type of resistor with a two-row pin layout that’s designed for through-hole soldering. It has two parallel rows of metal pins, making it easy to plug into a DIP socket or solder directly onto a PCB.
Because of its simple structure, durability, and ease of replacement, DIP resistors are widely used in things like industrial control systems, power management circuits, and audio equipment.
